Not everyone likes to shop. Anchorite monks, the Dalai Lama, children under the age of four, Dads with Saturday afternoon Grandstand to watch, the terminally unemployed, angry loners - all might pass up the opportunity of a whistle-top tour of the Wal-Marts and boutiques and the chance of a Big Mac, but for the rest of us, it's insanely addictive. Liverpool ONE offers more than 160 famous high street stores, ultra-hip fashion brands, cool independent boutiques, cafés and restaurants to the city centre. It's a place to sit and watch as the world goes by - and for some of you, as the most attractive and well-dressed ladies and gentlemen go by. All the usual big brands are on offer: Starbucks, Costa Coffee, Pizza Hut - but there's also no shortage of smaller French, Italian and Japanese curios. You can also catch a movie at Liverpool's superb 14 screen Odeon cinema.
