Although it's highly unlikely you've ever associated this gruff and rather practical West Yorkshire city with anything quite so tropical as rainforests, you’re about to uncover a whole new world. No, we’re not off to Headingly – we’re about to embark on an adventure aboard the HMS Tropical World – all bound for a remote and a Tropical Island.
Land on the sandy white beach before forging inland to the rainforest where you will find waterfalls tumbling into jungle pools. Keep a look out for exotic animals on your journey, you will discover snakes, spiders, meerkats and lemurs along with many unusual tropical insects.
Home to the largest collection of tropical plants outside Kew Gardens, Tropical World is open all year round excluding Christmas Day and Boxing Day, the Tropical World experience is the ideal day out for both adults and children.
