Dublin sits at the mouth of the River Liffey and bags some 3 million international visitors every year. This in part due to Ireland's rich literary heritage, visitors eager to source the spirit that gave us Irish classic James Joyce's 'Ulysses' and Sean O Casey's 'Juno and the Paycock'. There's no shortage of attractions to visit. Trinity College was founded in 1592 and is Ireland's oldest and most prestigious college, dating all the way back to 800 AD. The 19th century jail at the Kilmainham Gaol Historical Museum, the six-storey Guinness Storehouse and Museum and the well-preserved 13th-century Dublin Castle.
Those looking for a little lively Irish banter, fine restaurants and fine pubs should really be looking for a selection of reasonable prices which are currently available in Dublin's Temple Bar district (the district sits on the south bank of the River Liffey). Getting around Dublin is fairly simple.
