Heaps of charm and character define this wee Scottish Inn on the eastern banks of Loch Ness at Foyers. Just a few hundred yards from the infamous Boleskin House.
This is a wonderful 4-star option for honeymooning couples looking for a dash of Scottish romance (just take a look at the lavish four-poster bedrooms on the booking pages!). The hotel sits in the village of Foyers, just a few hundred metres from the banks of the Loch. Checkout the short but spectacular walk that lewads you to the Falls of Foyers - a deep river gorge that drops a spectacular 140 feet (and celberated in a poem by Robbie Burns).
Craigdarroch is fully-licensed and boasts a fine range of malt whiskies and real ales from The Loch Ness Brewery. The rooms offer some fabulous views of the Loch and surrounding countryside (there is a small Highland church on the hill 100 yards above the inn that is also worth a looky).
A continental style breakfast is included in your rate. Dogs can be accommodated in some rooms, but only by prior arrangement.
The nearby Boleskin House was made famous by the self-styled 'wickedest man in England', Aleister Crowley
