This former 17th Century coachhouse has been beuatifully converted. Situated on the edge of the village of Bampton where Downton Abbey is filmed. Within easy walking distance of the centre.
The Coach House has three wonderfully elegant guest rooms. Each of the rooms is en-suite and boasts terrific attention to detail. Nice little touches include the Egyptian cotton linen, sherry decanter, flat screen TV and wireless internet access.
The smallest of our rooms is the the 'Sleigh room' . This comprises double sleigh bed, flat screen TV, en-suite bathroom with integral hand-held shower. The Saddle Room is a double room featuring flat screen TV, dressing table, and comfortable chair.
The Coach House is the ideal place to rest your head within striking distance of Blenheim Palace, The Cotswold villages, Oxford and many excellent restaurants. Bampton, famous for its Morris Dancing festival, is a picture-postcard village with little of the bustling tourist activity associated with Oxford.
