Dukes Cottage is based in the centre of Aberfoyle, between the Golf Club and the Primary School. This bustling tourist area sits at the foot of the Trossachs - one of the most spectacular mountainous regions in the whole of Scotland.

Over the years the village has become increasingly popular with ramblers, climbers, cyclists and sightseers. The scenery round here is magical and there are heaps of outdoor activities to enjoy (especially during the Summer).

The cottage can be found at the start of the Dukes Pass, a 7 mile driving route on the A821 built by the Duke of Montrose in the 19th century that will take you all the through the Strathyre Forest to a network of hills and lochs including Loch Katrine, Loch Lomond and Loch Venachar. Nearby attractions include the Go Ape! Adventure Park and the Lodge Forest Visitor Centre.

Dukes is a self-catering cottage located in a quiet and secluded spot just off the main street. The wood burning stove and exposed beams in the lounge add a real warmth and character whilst the 32" Samsung LCD TV, DVD player, dishwater and en suite shower rooms add a snazzy, modern sheen. Electricity, towels, linen, crockery and cutlery are provided at the start of your stay along with a basket of fuel for the wood burning stove.

Straight out the door of Duke's Cottage in Aberfoyle you can stroll on the easy forest trails round the Queen Elizabeth Forest.
