Hafod Hotel
3 star rating Devils Bridge

Aberystwyth Dyfed, Ceredigion and Cardigan Bay SY23 3JL

Located on the western edge of the Cambrian Mountains and Elan Valley and within easy reach of the coastal university town of Aberystwyth, the Hafod Hotel makes an excellent base for a holiday in Wales.

This 17th Century hunting lodge sits in a beautiful position next to the Devils Bridge Falls - one of the most outstanding natural water features in Wales. These stunning waterfalls have been attracting visitors to the area since the 18th century. William Wordsworth wrote the poem Torrent at the Devil's Bridge during one of his visits.

The Hafod Hotel stands at the head of dramatic waterfalls overlooking the wooded gorges of the Mynach and Rheidol rivers. It's a magical spectacle indeed. The garden also enjoys views of the Cambrian Mountains. Staff can provide maps for walking routes which surround the Hafod.

Guest bedrooms feature Flat Screen television, FREE wireless broadband, hairdryers and tea/coffee making facilities. All bedrooms with the exception of four have outstanding views across the gorge and some have views of the Waterfall. The AA Rosette restaurant serves traditional menu using the best of local produce.

The Hafod Hotel is just 300 metres from the Rheidol Valley Railway Station. Nant Arian, renowned for its mountain bike trails and where the Red Kites are fed daily is a quarter on an hour away.
