Heythrop Park is a hotel with a history. The property was first designed in the baroque style by celebrated Westminster architect Thomas Archer for the 1st Duke of Shrewsbury and was later used as a Jesuit training college. Interestingly the inspiration for the hotel’s stunning facade was Gian Lorenzo Bernini's final design for the Louvre. Today the hotel is under the management of Crowne Plaza who have transformed this once glorious country mansion into a no less glorious Golf and Country Club.
