The Docklands Riverside is probably one of the best hotels on Canary Wharf even if it’s not the cheapest. Situated opposite the South Quay DLR terminus, in amongst the lavish apartment towers of Millwall Dock and Clippers Quay, the Hilton is just a few minutes walk from Heron Quays and the Wharf, which can be found on the quay opposite and accessible by Westferry Road to the west of the property. The hotel comprises and Fitness Centre and Health Club with a sauna and steam room. Limited car parking is available to Hilton guests on a first come, first served basis and costs around twenty pounds for 24 hours.

It’s not the most lavish Hilton property in London by any means, having, if anything, a rather functional bent. The hotel bar stays open late and guests often remark that the local shopping opportunities is better than that of Oxford and Regent Street.

The Hilton is practical for both long and short periods and the executive features and junior suites are especially comfortable — R4U
