The bus stops outside, the train is 2 stops to Britain's favourite Heritage City and it's only 20 minutes if you should choose to drive. As it's on the London side of Bath, we are less than 2 hours from the capital. Being an old manor house and farm, the bedrooms, bar and restaurant are to be found in various different buildings. This is generally seen as part of the unique charm of the place. If you want a lodge style hotel with shiny facilities all in one building, a gym and the heavy hand of an interior designer, then you have picked the wrong place. The staff and even the slightly eccentric owner are very friendly and welcoming
