North Grange

More accommodation on the quiet North Shore. The village of Bispham is roughly a mile from Blackpool Town Centre. The area is mainly residential but there a couple of decent shopping areas should you find yourself desperately in need of more immediate entertainment.

The hotel’s location on Queens Promendade guarantees a couple of things. Firstly there’s a plentiful supply of restaurants and tea-rooms. Check-out the mid-way stretch between Queens Promenade and Red Bank Road.

Further out into the village you have the Devonshire Road area which has some charming older cottages and the usual slew of shops. There’s also a large outdoor car-park in this area too.

It’s not a large place but the 16 bedrooms on offer are smartly decorated and enjoy a cosy, restful atmosphere. All rooms are en suite and all rooms at the front of the hotel have picture-windows views of the glorious Irish sea.

The two dining rooms can be found in the basement of the hotel. Both rooms boast a fresh and casual French Cafe atmosphere and the bar and lounge is a great place to unwind and enjoy some spectacular sunsets (Morecambe Bay and the Cumbrian mountains can both be seen from the lounge) – R4U
