Old School charm lifts this nautical Georgian 4-star on Kings Road. Promenade location just down the road from Brighton Dome and the Theatre Royal.
For one of the most progressive guest options in one of the most progressive resorts in England, it’s difficult to believe that there are features of the Old Ship that date back to the 1500s. Occupying a nifty, iconic position on the famous seafront, this 200 bedroom hotel oozes charm and tradition. The rooms are vibrantly decorated in brilliant azure blues to reflect its nautical character, and sensitively furnished to retain that period Regency aspect. Terrific location overlooking the beach and the pier.
As is the fashion in Brighton, the Old Ship offers on-street terrace dining with the onsite ‘Steak and Sea;’ restaurant which serves a strong but not exactly creative range of seafood steaks and pub classics like like gourmet burgers and lamb steaks.
