A ‘location-crisis’ fails to dent the attraction of a cheap and comfortable place to kip down after several hours on the road. Located just off Junction 1 of the M5 near Birmingham and West Bromwich.
We agree; the Park Inn by Radisson is indeed some several miles West of the centre; in fact, it's in West Bromwich, which is a separate town entirely. The reasons for its inclusion here though, are pretty simple. The hotel is situated just off Junction 1 of the M5 motorway with easy access to the M6, M42 and M40 and makes an excellent overnight base for drivers tearing up and down the M5 to Devon corridor.
Families may be left scratching their heads at the lack of meaningful 'perks' on offer, but the 168 bedrooms are very business friendly indeed: climate control, plasma-screen TV, 24-hour room service, in-room safe and high-speed, wireless Internet access.
Guests can also enjoy use of the on-site ‘Innaction’ health fitness club and the RBG Restaurant, Bar Lounge. Five miles North of the centre – R4U
