Wake up and smell the coffee! Costa-friendly budget chain moulds neatly around the demands of the modern traveller. Check out some great rates at Glasgow’s Premier Inn.
Argyle Street is to Glasgow City Centre what the main coronary arteries are to the heart. A major thoroughfare and home to some major shopping opportunities, the street is ideally situated for both Glasgow Central Train Station and the city’s Dockland area. This is a Premier Inn ‘+Plus’ kind of venue. It has all the simple yet practical amenities you’d associate with this incredibly popular budget chain plus a few tasty extras including a Costa Coffee Bar, a restaurant and a bar. They’re not lavish affairs, but they’re smartly designed and adaptable to the demands of the modern traveller. All children under 15 years stay free of charge at the Premier Inn Glasgow City Centre when using existing beds. 24-hour reception desk.
Room4u’s stay was a surprisingly quiet affair, the only genuinely audible whir coming not from the traffic but from the air-conditioning unit. The hotel is a five-minute walk to the train station, and although the one-way system in the city centre threatened to upset things somewhat, the nearby car park on Waterloo Street was actually quite easy to find. The Premier Inn is also just a 20-minute walk to the SECC. Best budget option on Argyle Street by far – R4U
