Whilst the hotel exterior has a somewhat dated feel, the six acres of private grounds it sits in make this 60-bedroom property ideal for hosting corporate events, weddings and functions. All rooms are en suite and come equipped with in-room television, basic toiletries and refreshment trays. The character of the rooms may be a tad insipid, but they are comfortable and spacious enough. If it excels at all, it's in the dining facilities. A airy restaurant that enjoys plenty of natural light enjoys terrific views across the lawns and the Head Chef makes the most of locally sourced ingredients. Satisfactory rather than outstanding, but very reasonably priced.
