On a thrill-by-thrill basis it’s unlikely to match the Pepsi Max Big One, but it’s a flexible, reliable option for one of the most popular sites in Blackpool.
If the kids have been begging you to unleash the best part of your month’s wages on thrill rides like the Pepsi Max Big One and the Grand National – traditionally followed-up by a good, heavy drenching at the nearby indoor waterpark - then the simplicity and unfussiness of the Travelodge on Blackpool’s sizzling South Shore might be kinder to your budget than most. Neighbouring both Sandcastle and Blackpool Pleasure Beach makes this a really practical option, and whilst there’s little in the way of thrills and spills the handful of perks like the bar café take the Travelodge lodging experience a little way above the brand’s ‘no-frills’ average.
