"A cost efficient no-frills approach to bed and breakfast lodgings makes the ‘Royal Scot’ terrific value".
Kings Cross or Britannia Street? Nobody reviewing this motel seems to agree. Whatever the case, the Travelodge is still only a few minutes walk from London's famous railway station, just off the A201 next door to the esteemed Gagosian Gallery and the less esteemed Social Club. The hotel offers affordable accommodation for folks grabbing links to and from the train station and London St Pancras Tube Station. A cost efficient no-frills approach to bed and breakfast lodgings makes the ‘Royal Scot’ terrific value: clean, spacious bedrooms, a tea and coffee welcome tray and on-site café-bar. Grouting in the bathrooms could do with a scrub and rumble from Grays Inn Road and the train station can be a bit of a challenge for some, but that’s what you get from being so close to the station: it’s a travel hub. All in all, the Travelodge Royal Scot is a decent port in a storm – R4U
