Ullswater Hotel

This has no shortage of repeat guests so it must be doing something right. Located in alofty position on West Cliff, just 150 yards from the beach, the Ullswater has rooms on all three floors.

The 42 bedrooms are light and airy with all the usual core features like televsions and hairdryers. There is a lift to all floors and young families will be pleaed to learn that z-beds and cots can be arranged.

The food in the restaurant is a modest but creative affair with well prepared traditional and European menus, using fresh produce in season. The 4 course evening dinner and Viennese coffee is complemented by the good choice of wines available.
