If a trip to Warwick Castle is is likely to be on the cards then the Holiday Inn must be one of the cheaper, more family friendly hotels around. Located some two miles east of the city, this nicely presented and very capable leisure hotel is excellent for families wishing to explore all that Warwicks has to offer. There is a lounge/bar where guests can unwind, high-speed internet access for keeping up to date with folks back at work and Spa Restaurant for dining. There’s also a small fitness suite for keeping in shape treadmills, rowing-machines, step-machines.

Warwick Castle is often described as Britains ‘ultimate castle’ and offers a massive range of things to see and do including themes feasts and medieval suppers. There’s a couple of Warwick hotels near Castle Lane in the town centre if you want quick and easy access for castle tours. The Gables Hotel sits at the foot of the castle on Mill Street. This Grade II Listed Manor House dates back to the 1300s and boasts a snazzy boutique aesthetic. Facilities include a spa-treatment room.
