No surprises to learn that the focus of life on the North Shore is the Par 71 Golf Course just off Queen’s Promenade. This 6500 yard course has been a regular qualifying feature of the Open Championships. The North Pier sits just a few hundred yeards north of Blackpool Tower and the Grand Theatre.
