If you were a child in the 1970s you may recall the very spooky Clifton House Mysteries that the BBC foisted on kids as part of their ‘scare the living daylights out of the children’ series of dramas. This time, thankfully, there is no spine-tingling musical box, nor are there ghosts emerging from some secret room (not to our knowledge anyway). It is, however, a similarly stunning Georgian House in the lush and exclusive Clifton area of Bristol, perched neatly on the banks of the Avon.
