You’re unlikely to fully appreciate the AC Birmingham ‘Mailbox’ if you no idea what they mean by the ‘Mailbox’. This is the city’s landmark shopping, dining and entertainment centre – home to over 50 big chain stores and boutiques and some rather tasty bars and restaurants. There are even three art galleries: the Artlounge, Castle Galleries and the Three White Walls Gallery as well as being home to the regional BBC HQ. In this respect the AC needs precious little in the way of facilities to really survive, drawing instead upon the fairly broad and eclectic range of conveniences on its doorstep.
