Brewery Tap
40-42 Ock Street

Abingdon Oxfordshire OX14 5BZ

This charming Grade II-listed has three superior rooms on offer. Located in Abingdon town centre, just around the corner from County Hall Museum. Featured in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide.

The Brewery Tap is an award-winning pub with three exceptional guest rooms. As you might well expect, the property began life as a brewery tap house in the late 17th Century. The inn at this time would have been owned by the brewery and customers would buy the ale on draught, fresh from the barrel. This meant the ale was always in tip-top condition, and we're are pleased to say that little has changed. The craft and cask ales here are really first class and the inn is popular amongst locals for serving a cracking Sunday Roast.

There's bags of character here with the classic English Beer garden offering a great place to dine in the Summer and the roaring stone fireplace a fine place to snuggle-up and booze (sensibly) in the Winter.

Each of the three luxury guest rooms feature an en suite bathroom and Freeview LCD TV, along with a desk and seating area. Couples will love the moody lighting, and the swanky chrome bathrooms and all the furnishing are top-of-the range.

The University city of Oxford is just six miles from The Brewery Tap and is easily reached by bus. London Heathrow Airport is less than an hour’s drive away.
