No shortage of care and attention have gone into this handsome country retreat just off the A45 Brooklands. The hotel coveted the Hotel of the Year at the Godiva Awards for Coventry and Warwickshire in 2006 and the momentum has been maintained ever since. It might not have the period charm of several other country mansions in the area but the occasional glimpse of exposed oak beams does hint at its former majesty. It’s a traditional rather than stylish affair more likely to please the over 50s than the hipster crowd.
