Rooms have tea and coffee facilities, multi-channel television and seven of the ten rooms are conveniently en-suite. The owners are fairly upfront about its disputed 3 diamound status, explaining that the hotel maintains the same standard of service, but just didn't seek status-renewal because of the increasingly stuff costs. The fact that the hotel passed Bournemouth Quality Standard several years ago also goes some way to restoring confidence.

All Chelsea bedrooms are non-smoking, but guests can take a puff outside should the urge arise.

There is a small hotel bar but is often closed during the week in the winter.

If guests requires drinks, then it will be offered on request. Payment like all other small hotels is on arrival.
