Arudel Park has made a name for itself not just amongst travellers arriving in the South Downs on business but amongst Time Travellers too, the Castle having featured in the long-running BBC series, Dr Who. Time and Relative Dimensions in Space might not really apply in this instance but the hotel’s practical location off the A27 between Arundel’s Pass and Lyminster certainly makes for speedy journeys. The 53 bedrooms are pleasantly decorated and some have above average views of the surrounding South Downs countryside.

Arundel Town Centre and the Cathedral are about a mile North of the property and there are conference rooms available for business guests and functions.

Arundel Park is well worth a visit if you have young children in tow, with Wildlife Watching, a Wetland Centre and Hiorne’s Tower on the list of things to see and do – R4U
