The double-glazing just about silences the noise of the traffic and a good night’s sleep can be enjoyed.
Describing itself as a ‘functional’ hotel probably does the Comfort Hotel no real favours at all. Functional might be a bonus if it enjoyed a very practical city centre location, but at 2 miles it might be fairer to say that the property offers budget accommodation for business travellers who have little interest and even less time for all the trifling luxuries of its more lavish competitors. The hotel is also benefiting from some long overdue revamps and refurbishments, outdating some of the surly negative comments you may find on some sites.
Individually designed en-suite guest rooms, a cosy ‘lived-in’ bar and extensive conference facilities are just some of the dividends that pay off – R4U
