This is probably Ealing’s most attractive hotel, not that you’d think so just by looking at it, as the rather drab and urban architecture more reminiscent of a Croydon council house rather than a crown is somewhat at odds with the huge, dangling chandeliers spilling from the ceiling of the lobby upon arrival. It’s not a total misnomer of course, the sleek if bland functionality of the Plaza building is a solid reminder that this Ealing option offers much more than lavish furnishings and handsome, natural colour schemes.
