The Grand Hotel is one of Torquay’s more exclusive hotels, comprising 131 bedrooms, and 7 sumptuous premier suites spread over four floors, many enjoying views across the gorgeous, sparkling waters of Torbay and South Devon. The seafront hotel adjacent to the train station forms the start of what is known today as the Agatha Christie Mile which takes in many of the landmarks relating to the crime writer’s past and can be walked with the aid of a leaflet, available from Torquay’s Tourist Information Centre. All bedrooms are decorated to a very high standard and include all of the facilities and extras many would expect of a 4 Star hotel, including two 15-meter swimming pools, jacuzzi, gym, sauna, tanning shower and tennis court. A hair and beauty suite is also available to guests.

Rooms are available in a number of categories - Standard, Select and Premier. All rooms at the Grand Hotel are individually and comfortably furnished to 4 star standards, available as single, executive, double/twin or family rooms. There are also a number of suites, all with extensive sea views.

The Premier Suites can sleep one to 5 people and the lounge areas are spacious and comfortably furnished. Popular features include remote control colour TV with satellite channels, DVD player, small fridge and hospitality tray. Bathrobes and slippers are presented in the bedrooms, with double-bedded rooms in each suite having an extra remote control TV.
