Being close to the Roman Walls and the Cathedral adds a suitably historic dimension to the Grosvenor. Chester plays host to the classic black and white timber building renowned for its first-class spa and leisure facilities.
Dining here is a lavish affair with guests having the choice of dining at the Grosvenor's two award-winning restaurants: the Sinon Radley Restaurant, which has one of the most extensive wine cellars in England, and the more informal La Brasserie, which has a Parisian style atmosphere. The charming black and white timbers also add a historic dimension to what is otherwise a contemporary hotel. The hotel has 68 en-suite bedrooms - all stylishly designed and furnished - and 12 exclusive suites.
The spa facilities are second to none: five-luxury treatment rooms, a herb sauna, a steam room, ice fountain and salt grotto. There's also a gym on site making this an ideal location to kick-back and de-stress.
This is an exceptional option in an exceptional part of the city. Check out the late deals on offer as these tend to make the Grosvenor's more affordable than you'd think. Highly recommended - R4U
