Haringtons Hotel (City Centre)

3 star rating 8-10 Queen Street Southern Cotswolds

Bath Somerset BA1 1HE

The Harington's Hotel must rank as Bath's most central property. Built in the 17th Century and set in a quiet cobbled street around the corner from the Jane Austen Centre.

There's a definite period vibe to this fab little boutique hotel on Queen Street. Everything you could possibly need is close at hand including the Guildhall and Bath Abbey. The Jane Austen Centre is just a few minutes walk and you Jamie Oliver's Bertinet Bakery just 500 feet away.

This privately owned dates back to the 1700s and many of those original features can be seen throughout. The colour-schemes draw on a varied and vibrant palatte and the en suite bathrooms are out of this world.

Guests can look forward to homemade scones, clotted cream and tea in the coffee lounge, or a sandwich on the patio with a drink from the bar.

The rooms at the Harington's have 1400 sprung mattresses, power showers, LCD TVs that come with FREE cable TV with sports and movie channels. Lots of off-street parking.
