Helyar Arms
3 star rating 1 Moor Lane

Yeovil Somerset BA22 9JR

East Coker is a pretty little village some two miles south of Yeovil town centre. This 15th Century Inn boasts great food, great drink and a gentle, relaxing character.

What's not to like? Bird-song, fine-wines, great food and some of the cutest little guest rooms in Somerset. The Helyar Arms has earned bucketloads of praise for its innovative restaurant which is both flavoursome and uniquely British. The pub was awarded an AA Rosette Award for culinary excellence 2003-2008 and has been mentioned in the Good Food Guide every year since 2005. There's a good range of daily specials, a plethora of pub classics and a very tasty take on the traditional Sunday roast.

There are six en suite bedrooms in all 2 double rooms, 1 single and 3 family. Each has a cosy, rustic character and some some terrific views of the garden and surrounding farmland and village.

The Heylar Inn dates back to the Tudor period (15th Century) and provides a terrific base from which to explore the Heritage South Coast, including Dorchester, Glastonbury and Bath.
