Whether it’s the influence of the super-sleuthing number ‘221B’ or whether it’s some cryptic numerological obsession with digits and letters, Hotel 82 extends the lavish hospitality of their ‘146 Studio’ range to this pert little hotel in Gloucester Place in the fashionable and diligent Marylebone district of London. Britain’s original codebreakers, the Special Operations Executive – also known as the ‘Baker Street irregulars’ - had their office nearby so either explanation is plausible, even if this particular Marylebone property solves more in the way of travel problems than it does in the way of murders. The hotel is surrounded by several major travel ports including Edgware Road, Regents Park and Baker Street Tube Stations.
