Practical for the tram service on Commercial Street, the train and bus stations at Pond Street and Park Square Roundabout. Cosy budget option in Sheffield City Centre.
Room4U found the rather functional looking Ibis Sheffield City Centre just a five minute walk from the now splendid looking Train and Bus Station in the Pond Street district, making it especially practical for non-drivers or those on their way to a football game or a show at the Crucible and Lyceum Theatres, which are also just around the corner. The 95 en-suite hotel bedrooms come equipped with air-conditioning, power-showers, wireless connectivity, and double-glazing, which made the hurly burly of the street below almost inaudible, we were pleased to say.
A 24-hour snack menu and a fully licensed bar is on hand to amuse and satisfy the casual Ibis diner and the breakfast buffet offered a pleasantly daunting selection of pork sausages, scrambled eggs, back bacon and baked beans as well as well-known brand cereals, croissants, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, drinks, charcuterie and mischievous miscellany of cheeses – R4U
