Room4U thinks this quirky little Dumfries bed breakfast hotel deserves more of a fanfare than it currently seems to enjoy elsewhere on the internet. Whilst preserving the richness and sophistication of the original coaching house this completely renovated pub and restaurant offers fifteen stylish and contemporary bedrooms that have the quirky individuality of a classic boutique hotel, more like the kind of property you’d find in Bath than amongst the rugged streets and alleyways around Dumfries.

The rooms are equipped with en-suite shower rooms, work desks and cots are available upon request, although please bear in mind that the Queensberry is a rather busy and industrious town boozer – as elegant and well turned-out as it is – so it might not be the smartest choice for young families.
