This fine Victorian guest house can be found on the south banks of the River Avon close to Alexandra Park. bath City Centre is just 15 minutes walk.
If you fancy checking out the National Trust owned Prior Park Gardens then this will be one of the nearest options. You will find it just south of the city centre near Widcombe and Perrymead. It is here that Kennet and Avon Canal meets the River Avon. The gorgeous Georgian Crescents that dominates the area were designed by Thomas Baldwin and since been awarded Grade II Listed status.
The neighbouring Prior Park features a terrace, a rock garden, a serpentine lake and grotto and is set in a sweeping valley. Dorian House dates back to a similar period. It is an elegant period dwelling and much of its vintage magic has been preserved.
