Located just off Junction 13 of the M6 close to the Cannock Chase nature and beauty reserve. Express accommodation suitable for trips to Alton Towers and Stafford town centre.
This hotel regularly participates in the ‘hotel and discount entry’ package deals arranged by Superbreak for those flocking to Alton Towers (check out the link at the bottom of this review for full details). As usual, the Holiday Inn Express Stafford offers good value for money. You might not get the spa and leisure facilities you’d get at a non-Express version, but if you are going to be busy doing other fun things at Alton for the best part of the day, you’d only be paying for something you wouldn’t use.
The 4-storey hotel has a huge range of bedrooms on offer including twin, double, large double and connecting rooms for families. Multi-channel television and wireless Internet are provided as standard and the double-glazing does a good job of providing a long and restful sleep.
In addition to the substantial business facilities guests can look forward to a restaurant and bar. Rates include a full English breakfast and there’s an adequate (if not tremendously imaginative) snack menu consisting of Panini, pizza, burgers and curries.
Alton Towers is a 25 minute drive. Have a look at the ‘hotel & entry’ offers available from Superbreak – R4U
