Silly though Ramada is for claiming to be located in Birmingham, this Oldbury option is still an excellent and fairly lavish stop off for drivers and commuters rattling up and down the M5 corridor to Devon corridor. Situated just off Junction 2 of the M5 just south of West Bromwich, the hotel provides travellers with the all the creature comforts of home plus air conditioning and tops it off with reasonably priced restaurant offering a solid range of traditional English and International dishes.

Exceptionally well presented with all manner of swish, if slightly eccentric furnishings, the Ramada makes Oldbury seem almost sophisticated – R4U
