The Roby Roy hotel is just a short stroll from the banks of the Forth River and makes an ideal base for exploring Scotland’s First National Park.
Possessing such a hugely iconic name can often mean taking on a reputation that few hotels can be really live up, but if current reviews are anything to go by, the Rob Roy Hotel has little to worry about, providing as it does an above average stay in one of the most idyllic locations in the Trossachs. Named after the local folk hero and reiver! The 99 en-suite bedrooms are all tastefully decorated, rejecting the occasionally crude tartan stereotypes favoured by some. Four of the rooms have also been fully adapted for persons with disabilities. Facilities include the Thistle Bar lounge, where light refreshments are provided, whilst the Tartan Tea Rooms offers full 3-course lunches and evening meals – R4U
