As the meandering River Wye takes it desultory route through the picturesque market town of Ross on Wye, guests can look forward to one of the most characterful stays in Herefordshire. It's still by and large a pub-with-rooms option, but the quality of it all is first-class with a warm and rustic atmosphere that's a genuine credit to the owners
