Rothley Court Hotel
3 star rating Westfield Lane Rothley

Leicester Leicestershire LE7 7LG

Rothley Court is a magnificent Grade II Listed Building – part granite, part red brick with some elegant stone dressings and parapets.

Designed in the Renaissance style, much of the building you see today dates back to the 18th and 19th Centuries, including the stone mullion and transom windows and handsome oak staircase. Whilst a lot has been made of the hotel’s deep ancestral links to the mysterious Knights Templar dispatched to the Holy Land by Vatican during the crusades of the 11 and 12th centuries, the property’s considerable architectural value is often overlooked in favour of the ‘Da Vinci Code’ motifs. The hotel's 11th Century Chapel known as Rothley Temple gets disregarded by the vast majority of reviewers, as does the sheer grace and beauty of the building itself.

The hotel can be found just after the Red Lion crossroads near Junction 21 of the M1 Motorway and offers 32 lavish and very individually styled suites and feature bedrooms ranging from the beautifully converted Court Mews to romantic four poster suites in the main house.

Set away from prying eyes and ears, the Rothley Court Hotel is the perfect venue for finalizing deals and conferring on all manner of deeply mysterious plans. Plenty car-parking. Hire cars available locally – R4U
