As a reasonably cheap base from which to explore the capital Sanctuary House is in a league of its own.
The Sanctuary House Hotel is convenient for trips to Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and the handsome St. James's Park. It’s also very reasonably priced for this very exclusive area of London, making it a sound and very credible alternative to the often-overpriced ‘budget’ rivals.
Room4u’s only real criticism is that the food served in the Sanctuary’s very traditional Ale Pie House on the ground floor is so satisfying that guests are often competing with non-residents for tables.
The property’s superior double rooms all have king-size bed – several of which have four-poster options.
The air-conditioning makes even summer expeditions plausible. Plenty of character and a lovely family feel – R4U
