Situated just 20 minutes from the Rail and Bus Stations near the bustling West Quay Retail Centre, the Star offers basic but efficient accommodation. The look may be a little dated, but the hotel's weary look is given a liberal shot of adrenalin courtesy of its courteous staff and the terrific bar it has on the premises. If you are preparing for a Honeymoon Cruise this could offer a credible overnight stay but for extended stays in Southampton it could prove rather limited – R4U
