The village of Taynuilt (pronounced 'Taigh an Uillt') is built around the River Nant, and is just a mile or so from Loch Etive at Airds Bay. The hotel provides an idyliic yet practical base for Western Scotland. Areas of interest in the immediate area include the Bonawe Historic Iron Furnace, the Fearnoch Forest and the mighty Ben Cruachan.

If you fancy an hour or two on the Loch, there are several Boat Hire companies (TFC Boats and Gordon Hamilton to name just a few). Here you can try your hand at fly fishing just explore the beautiful and dramatic scenery.
