The Travelodge may be short on razzmatazz but it's still terrific value. Just off the A1 near Morkery Wood.
Grantham town centre may be some 10 miles north, but the Travelodge South Witham is a cheap and cheerful option for folks needing to kip down for the East Midlands Food and Drink Festival in nearby Melton Mowbray or those heading to the Grantham area for any number of social or business engagements. Whilst the signature 'no-frills' ethos is faithfully maintained, there are a couple of useful perks including a Little Chef Restaurant, ample free parking plus 24 hour hot food menu, takeaway breakfast boxes and vending facilities.
- South Witham is ancient village between Grantham and Peterborough. This attractive rural area has links to the ancient Order of the Knights Templar.

- The Rutland Water Nature Reserve is a 10-minute drive away and is a popular haunt for birdwatchers and walkers. This 1,000 acre area has been declared a ‘Site of Special Scientific Interest’. 31 bird-watching hides and nature trails.
- The Travelodge provides over 30 FREE spaces for cars.
- A Little Chef Restaurant serves hot food and there is a 24-hour takeaway service with food delivered to your room.
