This pleasant and unpretentious Docklands-based Travelodge is about 200 metres from the East India Dock station.
Budget hotels seldom come more reliable than this. The brand’s no-frills approach has proved immensely popular with business people drifting in and out of Canary Wharf and the Isle of Dogs. Just a few minutes walk from Canning Town Rail and Tube Stations north of Millwall Dock, the hotel is served by the Docklands Light Railway and underground Jubilee Line making it an ideal point of entry for commercial and shopping interests in the area and with a Bar/Cafe on site makes it a practical all rounder, especially if schedules are tight.
Travelodge accommodation is adequate rather than inspiring and a little more care and attention could be spared on some of the hotel rooms but they’re all reasonably spacious and come equipped with broadband wi-fi.
Happily the hotel is outside the London congestion zone and parking is available at a charge — R4U

The Docklands Travelodge has proved very popular with visitors to the 02 Arena on the Greenwich peninsula, London’s state-of-the-art concert arena with its music club, cinema, piazzas and bars. Southern entrance accessible via the Blackwall Tunnel
