A big Travelodge capable of serving a big variety of needs, and that’s to be expected in a city as big as and beautiful as London.
Located just outside Moorgate Tube Station, about five-minutes walk from the ever-popular Barbican Centre, this 390-room hotel is a bit of a quick-turnover specialist. The rooms are bright, spacious and equipped with all the usual mod cons including flatscreen, multi-channel television and broadband wi-fi. There is even a bar/cafe onsite to grab breakfast and a few pre-Barbican drinks. Sadly there is no on-site parking, but that is hardly a surprise given the central city road location. Parking is however available at the Finsbury Square Car park around the corner. It’s cheap, basic and providing you are in and out pretty quick and practical option for theatre and film trips – R4U
