Travelodge are clean, comfortable and competitive ‘overnighters’, excellent to use as a base, practical for all amenities and kind on the purse strings.
Whilst very cheap there’s a nagging sense that hotels like these should at least reflect the magical Tudor character of Worcester’s beautifully misshaped streets, its rippling cobblestone courtyards, tidy green topiary and its gorgeously twisted timber buildings. Budget accommodation this close to Worcester’s historic market square is a rare beast indeed, so if you are looking for the lowest-prices in the most central location then Travelodge is guaranteed to please as there is even discount parking offered at the neighbouring NCP Car Park.
If ‘charm’ is what you want though, you are likely to be somewhat disappointed by its functional modern architecture and its signature no-frills ‘no thrills’ approach to lodging – R4U
