The Vine Hotel is a 16th Century coaching inn located in Stafford town centre. Some lovely luxury touches.
As far as ‘pub-with-rooms’ options go, this 16th century coaching inn on Salter Street stands head and shoulders above the rest. It’s a charmingly rustic affair with exposed oak beams in the restaurant and some lovely luxury flourishes in the guest rooms. It’s location in Stafford town centre means it’s within strolling distance of all the major attractions including the Shire Hall Gallery and the Gateway Theatre. Believe it or not, this is the oldest pub in Stafford and tucked discreetly down one of its narrow Tudor side streets.
The ‘Olde Worlde’ character will especially suit out International visitors but there’s nothing old-school about the amenities which include luxurious bedding, flatscreen digital TVs and free WiFi throughout.
