The Globe is owned and managed by the JD Wetherspoon chain of pubs, hotels and restaurants and enjoys a good central location on the banks of the River Ouse. To the immediate north you have the North Lynn Industrial Estate whilst five-minutes walk to the east you'll find the train station. There's an interesting mix of the traditional and the modern going on here. The building itself dates back to the 1600s and there are some outstanding views of the River to be had from the terrace garden. This is Old Kings Lynn - the Tudor quarter. The hotel can get a little lively at the weekends but there are quiter rooms available. Music is played in the bar until late on a Thursday Friday Saturday and Monday nights. Hotel rates from £39.00 per room.
